We went to our local Easter Egg Hunt back in March. There were tons of people there. Here is the girls with the bunny (I don't know the child in the front- she wouldn't get out of the pic) Ben said "No Way!" when we asked him to go by the Easter Bunny!
Nathan, Kenna, and Lexi
Look at all the people!

Steven and I ran our race in Charleston. It was AWESOME! There were 38,000 people in the race. There were people as far as the eye could see! We spent the weekend in Charleston with our great friends Bob and Cyndy. Cyndy and I ran the race together. We both had a great time in the race, that surprised us. Steven says he was VERY happy with his time and we both thought it was so fun being involved in a race so large. The race was 6.2 miles over the beautiful Cooper River Bridge in Charleston. A BIG thank you to Lynn and Mark for watching our children so Steve and I could have adult time. The kids really enjoyed their time with you.

FINISHED!!
That is the finish line. This race is the 2nd largest in the world!!!
Cyndy, Me, and Steve right after the race
Here we are again after the race thinking to ourselves why did we want to run over that???
Me and my Man!
While Nana was here it was her birthday. Of course we had to make a cake. We made a gardening theme. The girls helped me make the cake and the flowers!
We spent the next weekend in Sumter SC with my parents. I love spending time with them and so glad they are closer! The Easter Bunny came there, so the kids were excited about that too!
Uncle Travis gave Ben 3 Spidermans for his birthday.
The girls making birds nests with Grammy
Lexi made a pattern with the gummies on every nest, she said her teacher would be so proud of her!
It was so hot we went the Myrtle Beach
Steve wanted to give you and early preview of his "guns." He wants me to inform you that they will not be complete until Pool time this summer.
Dying Easter Eggs
The kids waiting for the lights to turn on so we can see if the EBunny came
Finding eggs and baskets
Makenna got a note in her basket to look out side and she found a bike. The Easter Bunny must have felt bad that Mommy ran over her bike about 2 months ago and Makenna was REALLY sad!
Opening presents from Grammy
Once again Makenna made our dinner for Easter. Here she is making Paula Dean's Gooey Chocolate Cake. It was delicious!!
Ben turned 3 on the 5th. I still can't believe my baby is 3. He loves to put his fingers up and show everyone he is 3 now. We had a little family party and then on Friday we invited some friends over to celebrate with us. Ben loved sharing his cake with everyone. He wanted a "Spiderman climbing up the wall cake" so I made a skyscraper cake with Spiderman webbing up the side. It turned out pretty good! :)

Nana and Grandpa got him a new power wheels

Me and My bud
Makenna's class put on a play on Friday. It was the trial of Jack and the Beanstalk. Makenna was the judge who tried to determine if Jack stole from the giant. It was a funny play and they all did well!!
Here is a little clip of Ben doing what Ben does:
