Here are the kids in the front of the new house
Here are Lexi and Ben entertaining themselves at the old house while everything was being packed up. They said they broke their bones and had to have casts (made of bubble wrap)!
Ellie wondering why the heck she just drove so far and where she is????
Ben chilling amongst the boxes in the new house
Benny has been a big help. He has helped put EVERYTHING together!!!!
My boys
While here we have been able to do a couple of local favorites! Our splash park near by was a big hit and we have been to the Varisty and Coca Cola factory. The kids love to get the hats at the varsity!
Here is Ben in his Varsity hat. He walked around saying, "How can I help you Sir?" In some strange accent I am not sure where he heard :)
Coca Cola Factory
Modeling the sparkly bottle
Ready for our 4d movie at the factory!
Me and my babies
This couch was the original couch used on the American Idol set 2006
"Taste it" was their favorite. They tried EVERYTHING. Some they loved and some they about spit out!
Yes that is soda on his head???
Lexi had a whole cup ring around her face. One day she will figure out how to eat and drink and actually get it IN her mouth!
Getting our free Coke
There is also a new free putt putt at the end of the tour!
Only Lexi!
The girls have started school here and are making new friends and getting the hang of their new school! They both end school this coming Friday and are excited about that! Here they are the first day of school!
Lexi's class did a presentation for the parents!
This weekend Lexi participated in a 5k (3.1 mile) race. I was sooo surprised because, to us, Lexi is the kids who happily floats through life without adding extra effort. She is more about experience what comes rather try hard for something. She asked her Daddy about 4 months ago to run with him on Saturday's. Eventually that turned into her asking us if she could do a "real big people race." Well she did it, and we were soooo proud. She finished in 35:30 and was 2nd in her age division (boy and girl under 13 and she beat a 12 year old boy!!) She was 66th out of 177 people!! I am just so happy that she wanted something and worked for it, we love knowing she has that in her!
Here she is all ready! There was a prize for the most pink- that is why she is head to toe in pink!
Her sign she said we had to do and it had to be sparkly, you can't see it but it is mostly glitter!!
She has trained with her Daddy all along and he stuck by her through the race!
The "Go Lexi" Crew
And off they go!
All along Lexi had a plan that she would giggle with delight to tell me. Her plan was, as soon as she saw the finish line she would take off and beat her Daddy. Here she is looking up at him giving him her EVIL giggle!!!
And then she takes off!
Almost done and a BIG smile!
Here she is crossing the line!
All finished and still smiling!
Here she is accepting her award!
She got a certificate because their medals weren't in on time but one is coming in the mail. She told me she was so happy and never thought she could get a medal!!
