Happy New Year

I hope everyone had wonderful Holidays!  We had a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year, mostly because Steven got to be home for  a little longer.  The kids and I do miss him terribly throughout the week!  If anyone knows anyone who needs to buy a house in our area, give them a heads up about ours :) :) ;)
                              Some Christmas snap shots:
Here are my babies ready for the Christmas Eve Service (outfits by Nana and Grandpa :) )
How they really prefer to take pictures
The girls ready to perform their part in the Christmas Eve service (it is Makenna's best friend Skylar with them)
Singing their songs
Oh My Goodness it is Christmas Eve and we are too excited!!
Benny and his favorite furry friend
Waiting to come down the stairs
Santa got him Jessie, that is all he asked for!
Watch out, super huge nerf gun
The girls got an wonderful surprise dolls from Santa- American Girl Dolls!

Well if he didn't hit you with a bullet he will now get you with his laser beam!
Putting together her lego set
Steve and Ellie
It started snowing Christmas Night- we woke up the next morning to this!
We took a walk and snow collected on Ellie and it looked like she had "snow" boots :)

I like this picture because they asked Steve to make a snowman, Lexi is helping and adjusting the bottom.  Ben, on the other hand, is just laying down waiting for the finished product!
Steve's Birthday present from Ben ( a DUKE blue painted car!)
Steve and his new birthday coat, and once again Ben would not get out of the picture!
Kenna made Steve's cake
Ben happy for cake
We got to spend time at Papa and Grammy's house.  Here is Ben doing a Lincoln family tradition.  Cracking nuts with a cast iron squirrel nut cracker (it is a family heirloom that has kept grandkids occupied for HOURS!!)
Grammy of course helped teach the girls how to cook!

We all got to finally meet my first niece, and their first girl cousin Abbey.  She was a preemie and still tiny and cute!
Ben LOVED holding her and feeding her.  I was surprised cause I thought he could care less about babies :)
The girls in front of a monument for fallen soldiers on the base in SC!
 With Grammy and Papa
They all got to go bowling which was lots of fun!

Ben has harassed me for about 2 months about going to school.  He, everyday, told me all his friends go and that he would really, really love to go to school!!  Well Steve and I finally broke down and sent him.  He LOVES it there and behaves so well for his teacher.  I for the first time in 8 years, have kids all in school (well three days a week for 3 hours)!! :) Yeah ME!!
First day of school
of course I had to be webbed for asking for pictures

Here is Ben when I came to pick him up! He had to show me everything- he was so proud!
