We finished up soccer. The girls did great. Makenna wanted me to post a couple of pictures of her. Here she is...she LOVES defense!!
Well a little after Makenna's birthday we got to have our first urgent care visit. Ben was playing with a neighbor's dog (I will not name names cause this person feels bad enough, even though it was COMPLETELY and accident, and she and her family are absolutely wonderful!!!!!) and he got bit. Well that resulted in the first stitches (or "strings" as Benny calls them)

We got to go on a wonderful beach trip with Jill and met some new friends! Makenna stayed home, but the rest of us had a fun, relaxing time.

Next came Halloween. The kids had fun carving pumpkins and trick or treating. Makenna was Taylor Swift, Lexi was a "Dancing with the Stars" girl, and Ben was a Power Ranger. They got TONS of candy!

Lastly, Sunday was probably one of the scariest days I have had. Lexi fell off a little playhouse and broke her arm. When I saw her she was sniffling and as she walked toward me you could see that her arm was dangling. I felt it and felt the bones off line and completely panicked!! She was so much calmer then me. She is so tough and amazing!! I drover her to the smaller ER closer to us. They immeidatlely took her in, and then told me they couldn't help her there cause the break was so bad :( She got transported by special Kids ambulance (it is all decorated and silly, it even has a DVD player for kids in it) to a larger hospital with a GREAT pediatric wing (thank goodness!)! She then had to have surgery. She has three pins in her little arm now. It was called a dislocated break, which meant the bone got completely displaced! She had to spend the night in the hospital. I have to say she is sooo tough and brave. Steven is out of town, so he hasn't seen his baby girl yet and is dying to be home with her. Thank you so much to all my friends and family who helped us out. I couldn't have done it without you guys!! She will have a soft cast for about 2 weeks to let swelling go down, then a hard cast (that she wants in pink) for 2 weeks, then her pins will get taken out and another cast will be put on for another 4-6 weeks. Here are some pictures of the event, sorry they are little lower quality because they were taken with my phone camera (in my complete freak out moment I didn't think to grab the camera!)

This is her the morning after her surgery. She is such a trooper- still smiling. She is resting now at home. She is excited and can't wait for her pink cast!
Well lets hope next month goes sooooo much smoother!
