Tie-Dye

Makenna's class got to tie-dye shirts at school for upcoming field trips. The class needed some help and Ms. Hughes let me bring in Lexi and Ben. She even let Ben and Lexi tie-dye their own shirt (She has been so wonderful for our family and Makenna this year!) Benjamin decided that balls at school were cool to play with, more so than the actual tie-dying process. Lexi LOVED being at school. She thrived with everything else they did, and can't wait for kindergarten to start. Makenna loved creating different colors. They only had red, yellow, and blue and the kids had to think about how to mix the colors to create different colors. Here are some pictures of the kids and their shirts...

(Note that Lexi chose to pair the tie-dye shirt with a sparkly pink tutu- she said it made it "more pretty.")

I love this picture of the two girls. (It is one of those rare moments when they are nice to each other)

Here is big boy Benny. He graduated from the highchair to the table. He feels so big and loves being close by his Daddy.

Ben hates thunder but loves the rain. Here is some cute pictures of him trying to get his face in the rain.

I've always loved tie-die. I did it in VBS as a little girl. The pictures are great. Ben is getting so big! In answer to your question...no, we're not doing soccer again. It cuts into spring ball too much. Joseph and Elijah are playing Fall ball this year. Then Upwards in the Winter and then Spring ball. That's it. 3 things...2 sports. yikes!

I understand. We are going to do upwards this year too! Makenna opted out of dance for basketball.
