Mother's Day

Today I got to celebrate mother's day early. Makenna's school had mother's day tea. We really had fruit, doughnuts, and muffins with juice- no tea. It was WONDERFUL!!! The kids made a chart about what their mom's say. My first thought was, "Oh No! This could be bad." Makenna said, "My mom says Yes" I was grateful she chose a word I believe I don't say a lot :) They then sang all of the mom's a wonderful mother's day song and showed us the portraits they made of us. They were very cute, Makenna used her creative licensing and added a lot of jewelry to me and a new shorter hair style. They also wrote a couple of poems about us. This was such a great time for me. I love being mom and being able to share that day with her. Here are some pictures:

Benjamin has been crazy lately. He has been catching on to infant sign language like a sponge. He can sign eat, more, outside, sleep, all done, and bird. If he wants something and he doesn't know the sign he will go over all the signs he knows hoping, just maybe, one of those will work. He can climb up stairs faster than I would like and he has learned to push things over to couches and chairs so he can use them has a step and climb up. The other day he used the ottoman to climb up to the couch to get my glasses. I guess he wanted to look smarter....



Lexi has been so wonderful lately. She is so excited that her birthday is coming up. She asks how many more days until she turn 4. She is planning another princess cake again- surprise, surprise. She is really good with Benjamin lately. While Makenna is at school, those two play all sorts of games together, and here is their newest favorite...
