The Wild Horses

We have just returned to from a lovely vacation to the Outerbanks in North Carolina. We were there along with Nana, Grandpa, Uncle Micheal, Uncle Brian, and the soon to be Aunt Francesca. We had a great time. We had the BEST weather for relaxing and sitting out in the sun. Makenna was a fish, and swam all day long. Lexi preferred to fill a water pot up and water everyone's legs- she made sure none of us overheated. Benjamin had a great week but liked to stay inside with the AC. We saw many dolphins playing right outside our house, a gray fox, and we ended up seeing many of the wild horses. I definitely recommend time in the Outerbanks for those of you who need time to relax!!!

On the way home we stopped by Roanoke Island Festival Park, we got to go on a replica of the Queen Elizabeth II and go and see what the first settlement was like. We also got to go in a hands on museum of some early history of NC. The girls liked dressing up at the museum.
