Today was the day for Easter Egg Hunts in the Raleigh area. The girls had fun!! In the first hunt, the girls made out! We got lots and lots of eggs and candy. Lexi even got one of the special prizes they had in the eggs. Lexi would first choose egg by color- pink was the front runner- next, she would shake it and make sure it sounded like candy. If it didn't, she would throw the egg back on the ground and if it did the egg was fortunate enough to make it into her basket. Makenna decided running was much more fun that grabbing all the eggs. She would run as fast as she could to a pile of eggs, pick up only one (and leave the other 20 on the ground) and then run as fast as she could to the next group of eggs. It surprised us that she got as many as she did. While Lexi was sleeping, Makenna and I went to another Easter Egg Hunt. This time there were many more children and she used the same method; therefore, she didn't get as many eggs. We had fun though!!!!!!!!!!!
